Hello everyone!=D
Just came back from Cambodia. I nearly died a dozen times in Phnom Penh (that's the capital of Cambodia by the way)because I jay-walked. As in, this is REALLY jay-walking, because the road is a hundred more crowded than in Singapore. So if you want to get anyway, you either have to take a tuk-tuk - a tri-shaw thingy, except that it's driven by a man on a motorcycle - or risk your life to get across the road. So once you spot an opening of 10m, run for it and make your way between the cars which are 2m apart from each other and still moving. Haha. Scaryy!!!
Anyway, to start with, my first destination was Siem Reap. That's the nearest town to Angkor Wat. Those who don't know what Angkor Wat is, you've either never learned it yet or you just failed your History. We cycled to the temple which was 20km away from our hotel. But since the road was totally flat, it was really lovely. It was so majestic, and it took me 2hours to explore the entire place. There were elaborate carvings, and the person who carved them must have been bored or had no life.
Then I went to Banteay Srei. I think that's how you spell it...anyway, it is very famous for it's carvings. It is the temple which has the most intricate carvings and is also known as a 'girl' temple. Because my brother says, "It's small, but it has lots of bling. Just like youuu!!!" (Of course, he's kidding about me having a lot of bling.) Bling refers to the carvings on the walls,. and I guess he's right. XD
I also went to Angkor Thom. To those who watch Tomb Raider, Angelina Jolie was filming her first show there. It's really beautiful, because it's in the middle of a forest, and most of the trees have destroyed the temple, but it's really lovely. There's a pond outside the gate, and it's so stagnant it looks solid. Full of algae, but the effect it gives is sooo nice!! And in the temple itself there are roots framing doorways and lovely little purple orchids. Beautiful! This is my favorite one out of all the temples I saw.
I also went to maybe about 5 other temples, but these are the major ones. The others look alike so there's no need to explain. But I do remember there was one with 107 faces and 23 Buddha statues.
Then I went to the Bird Sanctuary, where I got a new name from Jon who called me Not Just Fat but Reallly Fat-san. I beat him up that day but he still called me by that name. Infuriating! XD It took us 1 and a half hours to get to Tonle Sap Lake - which has crocodiles mind you - and another hour to get to the Bird Sanctuary itself. It was a very unique sanctuary, because it was a tree house and you could see all the birds roosting in their nests. The majority was the open-billed storks I think. They're endangered, but I saw 1500 of them in one place.
On the way back, Jon made up another 4 curses to throw at me because I was sitting on him.
1. May your nose be encrusted with the breath of a hundred horses wearing tutus.
2.May your armpits smell of a thousand football players without deodorant.
3.May you be pricked by a thousand porcupine needles on your bum-bum.
4.May a hundred wolves bite at you pork chops.
I don't get the last curse but I still beat him up after that.
Anyway, after 4 nights in Siem Reap (all of this activity I just mentioned here are spread out evenly during the period okay?) Then 6hour bus ride to Kratie where we watched out for the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins. There are only 100 of them in the world, and I just saw 50 of them in one afternoon. After staying the night in Kratie (there was no hot water!:o) we had another 6hour bus ride to Phnom Penh. Sighh....I nearly died.
It was a depressing afternoon because we went to the Genocide Museum, which was a dedication to all the victims who died in 1975 under the hands of the evil Pol.Pot, who was said to have killed more people than Hitler. We went to the mass grave, where the clothes and bones and teeth of the victims were still on the ground. Then there was a shrine right next to it which was filled with 17 shelves of skulls found on the killing field where I was standing. It was disgusting.
Then another trip to the school where they tortured the people for information. You could even see the bloodstains on the ground. Okay okay! Sorry I told you all this, it's gross.
We then went to the river and tried to leave all the depressment behind us. And we failed, because we couldn't. But we bought a pomelo then we were elated because it was so yummy! XD
Anyway, this is about it for the Cambodia hols. Hope you enjoyed your holiday!

The Twenty-first Post of a Lifetime
Hihi! Haven't written for a few days. Haha!
Umm, yesterday i went to Joy's house to help her finish off the key ringd which we're going to use for souvenirs next year. Jasper (her dog) is soo scary. It really barked at me when I first appeared at the gate. Hehe. Anyway, we managed to finish off the 32 chains in 50 minutes. Yay! Then we watched YouTube for the rest of the afternoon. Joy's mom was too nice. She tried to stuff me full of chocolates while I was there. So in the end, Jot had to give me a glass of juice so that I won't have to eat any chocs. Hahaha!!
She even gave me a ride back. Practically insisted, and gave me a Christmas Present which was Kit Kat! XD
Okay, back to today. Training was gym and stairs, then 3 accelerations down the corridor and leg exercises. Finished! After giving Ms Natasha her present, and writing some regards to Ms Lim about Joy's and my present to her, I walked with Jeannette, Hazel, Petrina and Joy to the forum. Unfortunately, I had to wait for mom to pick me up in an hour's time.
In the end, I caught a minor cold because I had been sweating, and it was raining. So of course, I was cold!! Can't believe I'm sick again! Hey immunity system, buck up man!
I slept, then woke up, did nothing, opened my presents, which were a Swatch watch from my mom and a bag from an aunty. Very nice.
I have to got for midnight mass, so bye bye!
Merry X'mas to One and all! And have a Happy New Year! XD

The Nineteenth Post of a Lifetime
Hello!
Okay, I came back pretty late today because I had a Christmas Light-up in my church. FYI it's St. Vincent de Paul. I had to be in church at 2, to rehearse our songs until 4. Then I went home, had dinner and then went back again at 6.30pm to rehearse for a half=hour before entering the church hall.
There was a play, and it was pretty funny. There was also this boy who could sing really really well on solo. He sings so wonderfully I think he might be able to make it to Singapore Idol! XD Well, our part turned out nice, nothing went wrong, and I think the crowd was quite happy with us cos there was a lot of whooping. If you know what I mean. :]
I'm so tired!!!

The Eighteenth Post of a Lifetime
Hihi! XD
I had to clean the house in the morning, so my brothers and I spilt up the work. I did the dusting, Matt did the vacumming and Jon did the mopping. Then I went on the com, finished reading my book, and ate lunch which was yummy chicken rice. Unfortunately, it's also fattening, so that's why I went for a swim with my dad at Seletar Country Club. Not that swimming helps you lose weight, it's just that I suddenly felt like going.
Mom has a dinner and party tonight, and I'm writing this right in the middle of it. Call me anti-social if you want, but I'm really not into this party-ing things. Plus, I haven't eaten dinner yet, cos my mom always saya that I have to let the guests eat first. And that's why we children are hiding upstairs on the computer and 2 laptops, doing our own business. XD I guess we'll all stay up here till we're dragged downstairs to listen to the CL (Children's Liturgy) singing.
Ohh! I also have a concert tomorrow. It's called the Christmas Light-up. And I'm singing, but not solo people! Michaela is though, (she's in my church by the way) she can sing quite well. But she's doing a duet actually, with a guy called Trevor. Arghh! Why am I ranting on about people you don't know about? Haha! :D

The Seventeenth Post of a Lifetime
Hello! XD
I took off my braces today, but didn't go for training. ): I had to get to the dentist by 9 o'clock, then stay there until 1 something. Anyway, it hurt slightly as the dentist pulled off the braces. It felt as though your tooth was getting pulled out in a way, except that it was 20 times less painful. Then he scrubbed my teeth and blahblahblah. Then he gave me something that sounded like floride or some chemical and asked me to bite gently into it so that it will resemble my teeth when I let go of it.
It feels really weird without braces, I guess it's because you haven't felt your gums with your teeth for 1 year. Haha. Anyway, they took me to this room to get an x-ray of my teeth. Then let me out to wait in the..erm...waiting room. So I stayed there for 1 and a half hours, doing nothing except looking at gossip magazines without a proper Agatha Christie book. >.<
Nurse Carol finally gave me the retainers. I tried it on and to my horror I couldn't close my mouth because of some plastic thingy jutting out at the back. Nooooo! And I even talked worse than when I was wearing braces! Now I know why my two bros gave up on wearing retainers. D:
OK, I had to wait for my mom for another 30 minutes then I went out to have lunch. Then I went home to do...nothing! Haha. After dinner I watched August Rush with my grandparents. It was a really good movie. You should watch it too! :)

The Sixteenth Post of a Lifetime
Helloo! I went to the dentist today to check up on my teeth at 11am. But I went 45 minutes early because my mom had to send my grandparents to Mt. Alvernia Hospital by 10am. Anyway, the dentist said that he liked my teeth and that they were right on the dot, so I'm going to take off my braces tomorrow! Yesss!!!
But it comes with a price, I'll have to skip training tomorrow because the procedure takes half a day for it to be accomplished. Nooo! And I was looking forward to going for it too even though it was a Friday. Sigh...thank goodness it's still continuing till the 24th, if not I'll be hopelessly out of shape.
At 12.30pm, I met Mel at Takashimaya to do some Christmas shopping! I can't tell you what presents I bought and for who, cos it might be you! Haha! As a hint, we went to Kinokuniya. Books! I looove books. Anyway, we went to Macs for lunch then to Cineleisure for neoprints. It was super funny because we had no idea what to do since it was all in Japanese.
Then we went to Junction 8 to get Mel's mother's present. Then I went home by myself vis mrt and bus. I'm going for confession later in church because of all the red crabs we ran down in Christmas Island. Just kidding! XD
Good luck to the track girls for tomorrow. Survive people! That's what we're meant to do! (:

The Fifteenth Post of a Lifetime
Hello everybody! I'm backk!! XD
I had a nice holiday, very nice but tiring. But unfortunately I won't be able to relate to you the whole holiday, because if I were to do so I would need 5 pages of my blog to finish it off. Let's just get down to the point shall we? I'll just tell you the interesting facts.
Day 1 - Nothing much to say. Travelled to KL and stayed one night there.
Day 2 - Went to Christmas Island via Malaysian airlines. The airplane is taller than the airport, I have to walk down a staircase to get to the airport. You know like those you see in movies from the 1800s? The population of the whole island is ranging form 1000-1200. That's less than the number of students there are in our school folks! Haha. Went for drive after checking in at the Christmas Island Lodge. The road was full of red crabs - and dead ones too. Then went to check up on our divemaster who fitted us with the things we needed for our dives.
Day 3 - Woke up super early to get ready for dive. Divemaster's name - Teruki Hamanaka, but we call him Hama for short. And another divemaster whom we only know as Lynnie. She's a grandmother, who dives with us mind, drives a schoolbus and has a gold tooth. She is by far the coolest grandma on CI. Saw one shark. Eek! Octopus, leopard moray...blahblahblah. XD After two dives, went back to shore, then to Winifred Beach. I had to sit on the bonnet of the car to shoo the red crabs away, and my dad purposely drove into a clump of grass next to the road so I slid off the car. XD Winifred was not much of a beach because we went there during high tide. :P
Day 4 - Went for another two dives. Saw another shark. Eek! And yellow spotted morays, cleaner shrimp etc. Next dive not so interesting except for a baby lionfish. Cute! Then back to shore, went to the Dales. Hugh's Dale, which was a puny waterfall and another dale, can't remember the name. XD
Day 5 - Went for another two dives. On the last one I went to Thundercliffe Cave. I saw another shark at the entrance. Eek! It was really close to me. Anyway, we had to swim into the cave and rise into an air-filled chamber. Then swim through a narrow passage into another chamber, where we dunked our gear and walked to a small room, where we switched off our torches and saw small rare red shrimp that cleaned our feet and hands and lantern fish that could only be seen in the dark. Nice! Hama called it the Sushi Bar. Haha! Appropriate name isn't it? After the dives we went back to shore and then to the Blowholes. We had to walk quite a long way to get there, but it was worth it. At the Blowholes, I got a little bit more adventrous and walked off the path to stand next to the blowhole. But I got pelted with bits of crab when the water spurted out of the hole. For your info, a blowhole occurs when the waves get pushed up into a hole in the rock at the side of a mountain and gets blown up. Something around those lines.
We had to walk back in the dark because my mom wanted to see the sunset even though there wasn't any. It was super scary so we walked fast. What took us 1 hour to walk had now taken us 16 minutes to walk. Heehee!
Day 6 - We had a free day today, but still woke up early. We first went to Dolly and Greta Beach. They were quite nice, at least there was a beach this time. On Dolly, we found some turtle tracks and nests, but no eggs. Sigh...there were alot of hermit crabs though. =D Then we went back and slacked for a while before going to the Grotto. In the guidebook it looked really spectacular. But in real life it wasn't really. It was just a big hole in the ground, but the water was really light blue. So I had a small swim in there with Matt before freezing to death and crawling out with some difficulty.XDD
Day 7 - We had 3 dives today. So tiring!! But I snorkelled with a pod of wild spinner dolphins. I could actually here them sing underwater. Plus I saw 2 of them leap right out of the water. Fabulous! But my dad spotted 2 sharks underneath us, so I was pretty scared because the boat had gone off to herd the dolphins back to us. But nothing happened. Thank goodness!
The third dive was a shore dive, so we had to put on our gear and walk towards the sea. It was horrible! The weight of the tank was squishing me! But at least it doesn't affect me underwater. XD I saw 3 dragon morays that can only be found on CI, 5 lionfish and a baby razorfish.
Day 8 - We went to Lily and Ethel Beach. I spent the whole morning at Lily Beach because it was really lovely and didn't go to Ethel at all. My mom and dad went to Ethel and said there was nothing much to se there. Anyway, back to Lily. The water was light blue and clear like the water in a swimming pool. Haha. But the waves were huge. There were rock pools next to the cliff which was next to the beach, so I waded over there with Matt. The pools were so huge you could sit in them. I was sitting with Matt in a pool, when suddenly this freak wave came and washed over us.
It was so strong I gulped a big mouthful of salt water and got lifted up so I was lying down and got dragged along the rocks with my bro on top of my arm. I gotta tell you, it really HURT! I sustained quite a number of shallow cuts on my arm, some tiny shallow holes in my hand, a long one down my back and some more on the back of my upper thigh. And they were all bleeding, but not that badly. Matt got a short shallow-deep one on his back, one on his arm and one lower down his back.
We just had to soak the cuts in salt water and the was it. Presto! Didn't hurt much after that. So we had to go home and patch ourselves up before going to watch a show at the outdoor cinema. Beverly Hills Chihuahua was showing. It was pretty cute. Thus ended our day. XDD
Day 9 - I went for mass, but they had no priest so one of the villagers led us in prayer. We still received Holy Communion, but there was no sermon. Then we went to Daniel Roux Cave. But it wasn't a cave at all. It was small, locked up and smelled of bat poop. Hahaf! So we went back to the church at 6.00pm to watch the Christmas Play. It was cute! Done by the kids of Christmas Island too.
Dinner was provided by the Malay Association so we finally had a decent meal which did not consist of magi mee, sausages and egg. There was prata, rice, sausage rolls, chicken wings, fish, sweet and sour chicken and lots more.
Day 10 - We left for the Kl today. I went to Times Square. Yay!! I went with my gym friends - Jo-ann, Michelle and her two brothers who weren't gymnasts, Wayne and Shawn. Did you know I actually went there 2 years ago, but couldn't sit on any of the fun rides because I was too short? But I can! Now I can! Yay! I sat on the roller coaster and all the rides except for DNA Mixer. And I saw Lucinda there! Lucinda! Here! Haha I was quite shocked to see her but I waved to her anyway. XDD
Day 11 - Back to Singapore. I'm tired!!! Exhausted! Can't wait to go for training on Friday! (:

The Fourteeth Post of a Lifetime
Hello everyone!
On thursday night, quite a lot of things happened AFTER I wrote my post. ): Firstly, I cut my hair!! Hahas. It's quite short now, like Hazel's hair! Looks long but you can't tie a ponytail. I'm not really used to it, I always keep trying to flick it over my shoulder out of mere habit, but of course, it doesn't happen.
Secondly, while I was eating pizza that my mom baked and barbecued chicken that she bought because she was too lazy to cook, (: a bat flew into my house! I was quite stunned, because I thought it was a bird at first. It kept zooming around and it was pretty small. But it wasn't making any noise, so I started yelling "A bat! A bat!" and it got scared and flew out the front door. It was really cute, if you thought about it.
Okayy... yesterday nothing much. Bought a swimming suit from Royal Sporting House at Junction 8 and ate lunch there at the Food Junction. And I met Ainslie Kua! Haha. Since I was with my brother, she just waved. Hahaha. She might have mistaken us for boyfriend-girlfriend because we don't look alike, but in the end she confirmed it by asking me "Is that your brother?" *Grin*
Today...I went for choir practice. But I went late because I was rampaging around the house looking for my dive log, because of you don't have your dive log, you can't go diving!! But I found in the end. Praise the Lord!
Anyway, practice started at 9 o'clock, but my dad brought me and my mom over to Uncle Wilson's (he's the guy in charge)house at 9.15a.m. Except that my mom THOUGHT it was at his house. In fact, it was in church! So we had to walk all the way back home - which is not so far away thank goodness to that! - to get the car and drive down to church. By that time we were 45 minutes late, but he Uncle Wilson didn't mind because my mom rang him up beforehand to tell him the situation.
I went out again after lunch to get my dive-suit and booties. Yayyy... they're very comfy. Very nice, but the wet-suit is killing me at the neck! Bleghh.. well, what to do? At least it'll keep me warm.
This should be the last post I'll write before going tomorrow, so good luck to everybody! All the way for the trackers, and enjoy your camp on Friday. Hope it'll be fun. You must tell me all the details when I'm away, k? XD

The Thirteenth Post of a Lifetime
I didn't have to go for tuition today, neither did I cut my hair. But at least I cut my fingernails. XD Ahahaa. Today I'll wrote something weird, totally weird, so bear with me k?
I miss track! As in REALLY miss track. It's like a part of me is missing when I don't run or jump or jog 3 times a week. I wonder why it means so much to me, like I really love it. Does that mean I have a passion for the sport? Or is it because of the people there?
When I'm stuck at home I have nobody to talk to. (Except my brothers of course, but since one is always out for the whole day and the other is glued to the computer, they don't count.) So I'm lonely, but at track there's so much to do and talk about. I can share my feelings over a topic, or I can just laugh insanely at something that is not funny at all. XD
So I'm still bored. I've finished reading my manga and Agatha Christie book. I planned to go out for a walk today but the weather just ruined it. I don't really want to read the book I'm reading, and I don't want to be on the computer after I write this post. So what should I do? Can't watch TV cos I've watched all the DVDs and the programmes are boring. Nothing much for me to do is there?
To all the trackers out there, ALL THE WAY for training tomorrow! I'll be cheering for you back here in this house of mine, boring myself away. Hohoho. [:

The Twelfth Post of a Lifetime
Sighh...
I've been missing out on a lot of stuff lately. There really isn't anything I can write. So why in the world did I bother writing anyway? Ah! I know, it's because I'm so bored this is the only thing I think is fun right now. Just pouring all my boredom out on this page. Bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored bored.
There! What a complete waste of space, but now you have an idea of my boredom don't you? >.< I think you must be wondering why I must be this bored, isn't it always like this every other holiday? Well, you see, my previous holidays were totally BUSY with a capital B-U-S-Y compared to this. Eat breakfast, gym, go home, eat lunch, go for track, come home, eat dinner and ta-da! The day's over! Hurrah hurrah!
Now I know what it's like to have nothing to do. It's not easy for me to adapt to this kind of free lifestyle, because I've had the routine that I just told you about for the past four years. Walking aimlessly around the house, complaining my head off about there being nothing to do. Sigh. I'm such a whiner. Haha!
I have to watch Ma Ma Mammia with my family now, even though this is the second time I have watched it, but since I have nothing to do right now, why not?

The Eleventh Post of a Lifetime
Hello. Sorry about the last post, something malfunctioned I presume.
There's lots of things that happened, so I don't really want to write them down, it'll take too much space. But what I DO want to say is that I can't go for training until next year!!! Because I'm down with the influenza (which is just flu mind you) and I'm going on holiday this Sunday to Christmas Island. I'm not coming back until the 17th, and by that time track and all the other CCAs would have stopped. Sighh... Okay, let's not talk about all these morbid subjects now.
I actually want to put a link: What kind of girl are you? from blogthings. But since I'm not one of those people who go very well with computer programming, I'll just tell you what I am and see whether you agree with me or not.

You are a Tomboy Girl!
Instead of flirting, you tend to pal around with the guys you crush on.And why not? You can hold your own in sports, video games, and gross out contests. Just make sure and surprise them with a touch of girlishness every once and a while. Then you'll be treated like the hottie you are - not like one of the guys.

Firstly, let me get this straight. I don't have any crushes. Remember that!>.<
Secondly, I don't play video games and gross out contests, because if I do, I'll just scream and do nothing at all and die.;)
Thirdly, I'm not a 'hottie' so please don't tease me in school about this post because I'm not! XD
