Owieee.
I tried to do a handstand on the beam today. I was horrified because one: I can't do it. And two: I nearly died in the process. It's true! My kind of fall was the type where you slip, land in between your legs (don't think sick!), roll over to one side still hanging onto the beam for dear life, end up hanging upside down on the beam like a koala bear, and land on the floor with a thud, a moan, and a "ouch. i think i just died." which I did. Exactly.
My leg still hurts even though that was like 13 hours ago. Oh noes. What if I injured it?? Stupid me. Dumb me. Irresponsible me. Crazy me. Don't-know-how-to-think-sensibly me. Argh! Weeell, at least I can run. Well, I think so. I HOPE so. If it still hurts I'll just swather it in Counterpain. Lovely Counterpain! Countering pain Counterpain~
Oh. Teng gave us our new leotards today. Actually, they're not that new. They were the ones we used in Primary school and the same year when I was second for floor. Good times! But they're gone. Boohoo. Anyway, it is new because...they're new. But the old design. Get it? I hope you do. Then she made us change into it, take off our shirt and pants and made us jump on the tramp with a leo on. Hohoho! I liked it! It's nicer than wearing pants. Makes you jump easier! (:
Went to the library to check up on some guy called Ong Sam Leong. Except that I couldn't find him, so I had to search maunally through most of the History of Singapore books. The indexes I mean, for Straits Chinese until I finally found some random dude called Tan Jiak Kim. Weird name huh? Well at least he did a lot of charitable acts for Singapore.
